Linda Achan is a London-based Entrepreneur, Business Strategist and Jewellery Designer.
A jadeite expert and metallurgist noticed her love of art, stones, and design and invited her to get some jewellery made with the stones.
When she couldn’t get the desired pieces made, she designed and made them herself. People would inquire about where they were bought. That was the catalyst for the creation of Ayana Jade, a fine jewellery company.
Ayana Jade’s contemporary, conflict-free and certified grade A jadeite – Fei cui (not chemically coloured) jewellery is London-crafted with circular design principles. They create elegant, timeless and meaningful heirloom jewellery utilising the full spectrum of jadeite colours, rather than only the coveted greens, reducing waste and efficiently using precious resources. Set in recycled hallmarked gold / silver it resonates with people who share these values. The incorporation of varied colours is intentional, providing something complimentary for all skin tones, in response to market testing.
Ayana’s foundation in keeping with her focus on natural resource optimisation for economic and social impact. She is currently on a “Maker with a Mission” residency at Somerset House, Strand.
She has been recognised – as runner-up at the Women in Tech Awards for Entrepreneur of the Year and Tech for Good, UK
